WI LEGISLATORS MUST BE REMINDED TO SCHEDULE PUBLIC HEARINGS

Senator Lea Vukmir sent a letter to the chairs of the Legislative Council Committee (link is below).  She is reminding them of their requirements to hold public hearings on Common Core State Standards and the lack of transparency exhibited by DPI actions.

• Please open the 3-page PDF and note those legislators who signed onto this request for legislative transparency and action.
• Call those legislators and offer them your thanks.
• If you note that your particular legislator has not signed, please give them a call or send an e-mail reminding them of specific requirements to be completed by November 1, 2013.
