CONGRESS MAY MOVE TO FUND DEADLY RESEARCH ON HUMAN EMBRYOS
www.nrlc.org
A federal judge on Monday ordered the Obama Administration to stop paying for scientific research that kills human embryos.
But the fight isn’t over. The judge ruled that using federal taxpayer dollars for stem cell research that involves the killing of human embryos violates a law passed by Congress in 1996.That law, known as the Dickey-Wicker Amendment after the two Congressmen who introduced it, says that no federal funds can be used for research in which a human embryo is destroyed or harmed.
National Right to Life was deeply involved in the original fight to pass the amendment. But now the amendment itself is under attack. It’s expected anti-life members of Congress will try to overturn the judge’s ruling by repealing the Dickey-Wicker Amendment, perhaps in September or in a lame-duck session of Congress after the November 2nd elections. National Right to Life will keep fighting with everything we’ve got to protect the Dickey-Wicker Amendment and all pro-life policies that protect human life. National Right to Life supports the many kinds of promising stem cell research that do not involve the killing of a human embryo.
But we strongly oppose the killing of any human being so their stem cells can be removed and used in scientific experiments. You can help National Right to Life defend the Dickey-Wicker Amendment and other pro-life protections in federal law with a generous contribution today. Thank you for standing and defending innocent human lives!

PEOPLE ARE GROOMED TO BE MARXISTS
http://www.visiontoamerica.org/articles/people-are-groomed-to-be-marxists.html
Vision to America exists to help America return to our Founding Father's vision for a Christian Republic. It is our Vision to see Americans once again recognize that we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights and that this Creator is the God of the Bible.

Most people know little about Marxism and need more knowledge on the subject. For instance, how did Marxism take hold in this country without anyone noticing until it was clawing away at our freedoms? If we look closely around us, we might be surprised at some of the people who are doing the clawing.
Do not forget this: People are groomed to be Marxists. They are carefully selected and people often self-select to be mentored in Marxism. It happens every day. And it’s been happening for a very long time in America. How do I know? Well, it’s because I was encouraged and trained in the Marxist Method, first by those practicing the Marxist Method themselves (they may not have realized their handlers were Marxists) and later as a protégée of an avowed Marxist. Only I didn’t know it at the time.
I, of course, was only one of thousands similarly enticed across the country. My own mentor had numerous protégés, many of whom I came to realize were gay. We protégés had little day-to-day contact with each other. And that, I’m sure, was by design. Had we known what each of us was up to, we likely would not have been so cooperative in the worthy group effort that united us: The American Civil Rights Movement. Or we might have compared notes and decided we didn’t want to further each other’s more personal agendas. No, we stayed, at least for a while, blissfully ignorant, not entirely understanding the who and the what of the political company we kept. We were young, impressionable, sometimes alienated but always seeking greater autonomy from anxious or overweening parents.
We just knew we were changing the world for the better. It felt great to be appreciated, considered important, to be working under the guiding hand of someone older, but not too much older; someone in the know, well placed, intelligent, well-read, cheerful, always encouraging, affirming us as talented, valuable persons. We were praised for unselfishly standing for the disenfranchised, the disrespected, those without the legal power to do much for themselves. Oh, how we identified! (That, by the way, is powerful “triangulation” and “layering.”)
So, why is any of this important to know or revisit now? Because, by and large, MARXISTS INITIALLY CRAFTED THEIR MESSAGE TO RALLY YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS WHO HAD GROWN UP WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES BUT WERE NOT WELL TRAINED IN THE SCRIPTURES (AND THEY’RE DOING IT AGAIN!). And, because what was done below the radar then is flying formidably above us now, strafing us, bombing our constitutional infrastructure, obstructing our vision with the smoke of deliberately set political and social fires, and driving us into the open, frightened and angry at the same time.
This is a time to act, but more often than not, we’ve just reacted (no well thought-out strategic plan) or done nothing (wallowed in despair). This is a time to think and act. And the thinking must be ‘big picture” and self- critical. Otherwise, the sins of omission committed in the past and all they did to further the agenda of the Marxists, will be impossible to overcome. You see, they know we are one of the best tools in their tool box!
I do see signs of hope:
The TEA Party movement has emerged to the utter shame of the Republican Party. It is challenging the brain-dead thinking of those still surrendering their votes to Leftists whose policies are directly responsible for most of the social and economic ills we face today. They are having some impact. THE TEA PARTIERS ALSO HAVE SHOCKED AND FRIGHTENED REPUBLICAN PARTY STALWARTS WHO HAVE BEEN DOING THE SAME THING FOR SO LONG WITH THE SAME PATHETIC RESULTS AND ARE THREATENED BY VOTERS WHO NOW DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY OR THEIR JOBS.
Anyone who’s been to a TEA Party rally has felt the energy and desire to “get ‘er done” and know the BLANKET CHARGES OF RACISM ARE LUDICROUS. DEMOCRATS MAKE THESE STATEMENTS TO DISGUISE THE FACT THEY HAVE BEEN PROMOTING GENOCIDE AMONG BLACKS FOR DECADES AND MORE RECENTLY ENCOURAGING HISPANICS TO BE LAW BREAKERS. The Tea Partiers – bless their souls – are attempting to demonstrate that it is the institutionalizing Democrats that block all efforts to unleash the native intelligence and skills of those kept poor by deception and fraud.
Various conservative politicians and organizations are still on the job, but they are not “boots on the ground.” New entities have formed, bringing new political communication tools to the average American. But these, as yet, have not saved American Freedom for the same reason. Please take note: LOW TECH RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AT THE PRECINCT LEVEL IS THE FOUNDATION OF HIGH-TECH COMMUNICATION SUCCESS ON ELECTION DAY. The Tea Party has a sense that this is true but it is not yet a political organization. The Republican Party hasn’t figured any of this out yet and hasn’t given Michael Steele the green light to do what he instinctively knows to do.
SOMETHING ESSENTIAL IS MISSING. IT IS AN UNDERSTANDING OF HOW WE GOT TO THIS AWFUL PLACE IN OUR HISTORY, WHERE OUR VERY RIGHTS ARE DAILY THREATENED WITH EXTINCTION. And it is that understanding that can translate into something that really has never existed, no matter what the Republican Party and its similarly minded allied-organizations say.
We have never had true conservative political organization at the grass roots, one that tells the Republican Party what to do. REAL GRASS ROOTS ORGANIZATION ENGAGES BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT, COMMANDS PERSONAL AND NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCES, ACTS AT THE MICRO-LEVEL, HAS A BROAD UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES AND THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND TRIANGULATE THEM AND PERSONALIZE THEM IN A BRIEF CONVERSATION; THE MENTAL AGILITY AND RHETORIC TO ENGAGE DISSIMILAR VOTING GROUPS AROUND HARD AND FAST PRINCIPLES, AND THE GUTS TO GET OUT AND DO THE LEG WORK, TO BE THE ‘BOOTS ON THE GROUND” WHERE YOU SEEK THE MIND OF FELLOW AMERICANS IN INTELLECTUAL BATTLE. These are the unseen activities that don’t make the news. The fact that they are unseen is why they are extremely effective.
Principles are great, but if you cannot take them to a neighborhood where people are ignorant of them and show them how those principles can work for and improve the lives of the people who live there, those principles have no life. This is where Republicans conservatives, and even many Christian churches, failed. They wait for people to come to them, rather than go out to meet people where they are and lead them to where they need to go. GOING OUT TO THE PEOPLE WITH THEIR “PLAN” FOR IMPROVING PEOPLE’S LIVES IS WHAT MARXISTS DO WITHOUT FAIL, DAY AFTER DAY, YEAR AFTER YEAR, RELIGIOUSLY, RELENTLESSLY, RAIN OR SHINE. Believe me, they have read and studied the Bible. They know this is exactly what Jesus did. And they have hijacked His principles and methods for their own godless purposes.
If only we could see some of our enemies as people who need to be saved from a lie, we could win enough of them to save American Freedom and meet the Marxists on a level playing field armed with the truth.

QUOTE OF THE CENTURY
Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out.
"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. THE REPUBLIC CAN SURVIVE A BARACK OBAMA, WHO IS, AFTER ALL, MERELY A FOOL. IT IS LESS LIKELY TO SURVIVE A MULTITUDE OF FOOLS SUCH AS THOSE WHO MADE HIM THEIR PRESIDENT."

DENNIS PRAGER'S SUGGESTION TO SCHOOL PRINCIPALS
http://townhall.com/columnists/DennisPrager/2010/07/13/a_speech_every_american_high_school_principal_should_give/page/full
Dennis Prager, one of America's most respected radio talk show hosts, has been broadcasting in Los Angeles since 1982. Dennis Prager's popular show became nationally syndicated in 1999 and airs live, Monday through Friday, 9am to 12pm (Pacific Time), 12pm to 3pm (Eastern) from his home station, KRLA.
Dennis Prager was a Fellow at Columbia University's School of International Affairs, where he did graduate work at the Middle East and Russian Institutes. Dennis Prager was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to the U.S. Delegation to the Vienna Review Conference on the Helsinki Accords. He holds an honorary doctorate of law from Pepperdine University.
Dennis Prager has lectured on all 7 continents, in 45 U.S. states and in 9 of Canada's 10 provinces. He has lectured in Russian in Russia, and in Hebrew in Israel. Hundreds of his lectures are available on tape at his website www.dennisprager.com.
The commentary below was written by Mr. Prager for TownHall.com, a conservative website.
A SPEECH EVERY AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL SHOULD GIVE
If every school principal gave this speech at the beginning of the next school year, America would be a better place.
To the students and faculty of our high school:
I am your new principal, and honored to be so. There is no greater calling than to teach young people.
I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked against you, against your teachers and against our country.
First, this school will no longer honor race or ethnicity. I could not care less if your racial makeup is black, brown, red, yellow or white. I could not care less if your origins are African, Latin American, Asian or European, or if your ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower or on slave ships.
The only identity I care about, the only one this school will recognize, is your individual identity -- your character, your scholarship, your humanity. And the only national identity this school will care about is American. This is an American public school, and American public schools were created to make better Americans.
If you wish to affirm an ethnic, racial or religious identity through school, you will have to go elsewhere. We will end all ethnicity-, race- and non-American nationality-based celebrations. They undermine the motto of America, one of its three central values -- e pluribus unum, "from many, one." And this school will be guided by America's values.
This includes all after-school clubs. I will not authorize clubs that divide students based on any identities. This includes race, language, religion, sexual orientation or whatever else may become in vogue in a society divided by political correctness.
Your clubs will be based on interests and passions, not blood, ethnic, racial or other physically defined ties. Those clubs just cultivate narcissism -- an unhealthy preoccupation with the self -- while the purpose of education is to get you to think beyond yourself. So we will have clubs that transport you to the wonders and glories of art, music, astronomy, languages you do not already speak, carpentry and more. If the only extracurricular activities you can imagine being interesting in are those based on ethnic, racial or sexual identity, that means that little outside of yourself really interests you.
Second, I am uninterested in whether English is your native language. My only interest in terms of language is that you leave this school speaking and writing English as fluently as possible. The English language has united America's citizens for over 200 years, and it will unite us at this school. It is one of the indispensable reasons this country of immigrants has always come to be one country. And if you leave this school without excellent English language skills, I would be remiss in my duty to ensure that you will be prepared to successfully compete in the American job market. We will learn other languages here -- it is deplorable that most Americans only speak English -- but if you want classes taught in your native language rather than in English, this is not your school.
Third, because I regard learning as a sacred endeavor, everything in this school will reflect learning's elevated status. This means, among other things, that you and your teachers will dress accordingly. Many people in our society dress more formally for Hollywood events than for church or school. These people have their priorities backward. Therefore, there will be a formal dress code at this school.
Fourth, no obscene language will be tolerated anywhere on this school's property -- whether in class, in the hallways or at athletic events. If you can't speak without using the f-word, you can't speak. By obscene language I mean the words banned by the Federal Communications Commission, plus epithets such as . . . . . It is my intent that by the time you leave this school, you will be among the few your age to instinctively distinguish between the elevated and the degraded, the holy and the obscene.
Fifth, we will end all self-esteem programs. In this school, self-esteem will be attained in only one way -- the way people attained it until decided otherwise a generation ago -- by earning it. One immediate consequence is that there will be one valedictorian, not eight.
Sixth, and last, I am reorienting the school toward academics and away from politics and propaganda. No more time will devoted to scaring you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual harassment or global warming. No more semesters will be devoted to condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or primarily a health issue. There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not heterosexual or not Christian. We will have failed if any one of you graduates this school and does not consider him or herself inordinately lucky -- to be alive and to be an American.
Now, please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will hand them out to you.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD SUPPORTERS ARE WELL-KNOWN COMPANIES
Planned Parenthood Boycott List
by Steven Ertelt LifeNews.com Editor August 11, 2010

To view the list of companies targeted for boycots, plase check the website listed above.
Kenneth C. Garvey, the director of communications for Life Decisions International, which compiles the list of companies backing the abortion business, said the boycotts have worked over the years because millions in Planned Parenthood funding has stopped.
"As a direct result of the commitment, action and prayers of pro-family people, at least 256 corporations have stopped funding Planned Parenthood," he told LifeNews.com.

INTRODUCTION TO THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE AND CONSTITUTION

Introduction to the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States
David J. Bobb, Director, Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship Lecturer in Political Science, Hillsdale College
When in 1863 Abraham Lincoln began his address at Gettysburg battlefield with the phrase, "Four score and seven years ago," he reminded his fellow citizens that their cause in the Civil War was also the cause of 1776. In the year of America's birth, Lincoln stated, "Our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."
By recalling the year 1776, in which America declared its independence from Great Britain, Lincoln reminds us that the Constitution of 1789 stands upon the principles of our Declaration of Independence.
America's bedrock principles are liberty and equality. The American understanding of their relationship was revolutionary, for the American Revolution was a revolution of ideas.
The Declaration affirms the revolutionary idea that all human beings are created equal in their possession of "certain unalienable rights." These rights include "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." They are given to human beings by "Nature's God" - not by government. Because the government does not give these rights to human beings, the Declaration argues, no government can take them away.
These "natural rights" are an individual's most precious property, the American founders believed. Government's primary purpose is to protect these fundamental rights.
The Declaration, drafted by the 33-year-old Thomas Jefferson, is an indictment of a government that had betrayed its purpose. Instead of protecting his subjects' rights, King George III routinely violated them. Rejecting their status as subjects to a king who had become a "tyrant," Americans declared to the world that they now stood proudly as citizens of a new nation.
Citizenship requires self-government above all else. Americans, James Madison wrote under the pen name Publius, "rest all our political experiments on the capacity of mankind for self-government."
The United States Constitution, of which Madison is rightly called its "father," is the written result of America's early "political experiments." Drawing from their own colonial experience and the history of other regimes through the ages, the framers of the American constitution founded a new regime - a regime of liberty.
The regime, or form of our government, is republican. Its end, or purpose, is liberty. A republic as framed in the American Constitution is founded on the people's consent. It requires not that the people rule directly but rather that they are directly responsible for electing their representatives. These representatives, in turn, are responsible to the people.
Asked about what kind of government the secretive Constitutional Convention of 1787 had produced in its long summer deliberations in Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin famously responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."
Keeping a republic requires the people to keep the government's duties limited. For that reason the Constitution delineates the duties of each branch of government - legislative, executive, and judicial. Ensuring that liberty would be protected required a regime in which the powers of government were separated. Any other arrangement threatened liberty.
"The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny," Madison, writing as Publius, argued in the Federalist, the authoritative defense of the Constitution he co-authored with Alexander Hamilton and John Jay.
Madison's concise definition of tyranny draws upon the ideas of the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle. It also is indebted to what Hamilton called a "great improvement" in the science of politics.
Like Madison's definition of tyranny, the Constitution is the product of wisdom both ancient and modern. At its inception it was revolutionary in its innovative combination of these ideas with uniquely American political institutions. Even today, as the longest enduring written constitution in the world, the American Constitution remains revolutionary.
"Citizenship requires self-government above all else."
The American framers affirmed the ancient wisdom that for liberty to last it had to be consistent with order. Human beings are by nature enough inclined to evil that they cannot be entrusted with unlimited power. Human beings are by nature good enough that, when their passions are properly checked, they can govern themselves.
The rule of law, the framers believed, is the best response to this mixed nature of human beings. Power must be divided - between the branches of government, and between the national, state, and local governments - to prevent tyranny. No human being is above the law. The Constitution ratified in 1789 established that neither the new chief executive nor the new justices of the Supreme Court were above the law.
Some early Americans argued for further limiting the power of the federal government by amending the Constitution to include a Bill of Rights. Others insisted that specifying rights retained by the people was ill-advised, for doing so would imply that unlisted rights were unprotected rights. Despite these differences, and owing much to Madison's prudent statesmanship, the First Congress produced ten amendments that offered a specific but not exhaustive list of rights retained by the American people - and the states. Early Americans agreed on a point frequently forgotten today: rights ultimately are not born of a "parchment barrier." The Constitution's structure secures our liberty, but our rights are authored by our Creator.
"Here, sir, the people govern," Hamilton stated at the Constitutional Convention. Washington, the peoples' first president, gave a living lesson to his fellow citizens of the power of humility before the law. "The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon," Washington declared in 1795.
"Happily for America, happily we trust for the whole human race, they pursued a new and more noble course," Madison wrote of those who fought the American Revolution. American citizens of every generation honor the nobility of that new course, the American founding fathers taught, by never abandoning the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the regime of liberty for which these documents stand.

TEA Party Rallies 1776 – Progressives 0
By J. C. Powers

The Progressives in the media have declared that the TEA Party rallies have run their course. Yes indeed, they have run their course and will continue to run their course right through November. There is a lull during the summer months regarding TEA Party rallies, but that don’t mean tea-baggers and astroturfers have lost their determination to unseat as many incompetent incumbents as humanly possible. The continued application of volatile fuels like unemployment, high taxes, outrageous spending, personal economic stress, illegal immigration appeasement, and sustained high costs associated with exclusive energy policies enabled by Congress and the interim President permeated the entire American culture.
To add disappointment, those individuals expecting “Obama Cash” to pay their rent and fill their cars with gasoline are quickly learning that these alleged minority representatives are in the battle of their political lives attempting to create a strong voting-base of undocumented workers; completely ignoring the existing minorities already struggling through job-losses and poverty in the United States.
Along with calling oath-keeping veterans domestic terrorists, the NAACP, the congressional elitists and the Obama Administration are declaring TEA Party attendees as racists and bigots. It should be noted here that most attendees believe the human race descended from a dark-skinned couple who go by the names Adam and Eve. The Progressives believe all humans, including minorities, evolved from monkeys. The reintroduction of racism in the country has not come from the patriots on the right, but from the Progressives on the extreme left.
Americans are living in a critical transition period with heavy-duty impositions through increasing government authority and dissipating constituent influences; but we‘re also living in the information age. Despite the mainstream media’s attempt to distract the citizenry, both Progressives and RINOs are being lined-up for the political guillotine. But the citizens aren’t interested in merely creating a majority of constitutionally inclined representatives in both houses of congress; they’re aiming at a super majority of filibuster and veto-proof representatives in the House and by 2012, in the Senate.
The complex array of communists among the 435 seats in the House of Representatives will require the piecemeal demolition of the iron fisted political society by informed voters. The intensity within many of the 435 congressional districts indicates even moderate-liberals are fed-up with the Progressive theology. Congress and the Kenyan will work non-stop to muster as much support as possible for an amnesty program, but unlike the 1980s when illegal immigrants were hard-working Christians looking for a more free and prosperous life, the new version of wetbacks are drug-smugglers, rapists, con-artists, thieves, and virtual welfare dregs; people who are far more in-line with the Progressives’ idea of a well-balanced society that requires their overwhelming totalitarian intercessions.
The current House is divided with 253 Democrats and 135 Republicans and four vacant seats. The quick summation requires the patriotic constitutionalists to garner 200 seats; ousting a combination of 200 Democrats and RINOs. On the Senate side the patriots will have to replace weak-kneed appeasers and compromisers like Lindsay Graham and John McCain at their first opportunity and garner at least 23 seats in each of the next three Senate election cycles.
Several states are in need of cleansing as well. Here in the State of Michigan it appears as if Paul Opsommer is the only person in Lansing worth rehiring for another term in office; the rest need to get in the soup-line with the constituents they put there along with most national representatives and both of Michigan’s U. S. senators. Wall Street and union workers aren’t the problem; addicted politicians and other “notice me!” control freaks like environmentalists, reverse-racists, gays and other special interest groups are the problem. To the demise of the Progressives, the days of the free-thinking patriots are returning in a devastating avalanche.
Locally, from school boards to councils and commissions, patriotic citizens are looking to put people in those seats that are unwilling to tolerate unfunded mandates and unwilling to drop their drawers and bend-over for environmentalists. People need to be in those seats that are willing to establish clear lines of authority, recognize priorities, meet and fulfill expectations, and ensure the taxpayers are receiving the best possible bang for their bucks as possible.
It’s time that the counties/parishes, cities, and townships declare their independence and sovereignty from the influences of the state while being weaned from the states’ dictatorial teats and it’s time for the states to declare their own level of independence and sovereignty from the national government. It’s also time we all declared ourselves independent of foreign industries, consumable goods and fuels.
Seriously, what politician has ever stepped-up and required country of origin labels on the front of all packages and clear “product of” identification on the placards over produce, meats and poultry? Maybe it’s time citizens entrusted with legislative, judicial and executive duties by their own countrymen start protecting and defending the rights of their fellow citizens over the power and influences of special interest groups and cease ratifying their own good-old-boy clubs.
Power to all the lawful People!
