Americans have been in a 100+ year war to resist the transformation of our republic into a democracy, then to socialism. The American shift to socialism has reached an alarming stage with the move to a powerful centralized federal government. States' rights have been surrendered. During the past 50 years, we have watched socialism increase with the federalization of education, environment control and adoption of national health care with the addition to ObamaCare. (A more appropriate name might be DemocracyCare!)

Individualists, particularly freedom loving Americans, learned the importance of a republic from their Founding Fathers who insisted on maximum freedom and limiting government to its most basic functions. Today, the state has become more powerful while allowing a large role of big corporations with central planning and crony capitalism. Coercion plays an increasing role in ensuring individuals is control by, and serve the will of the state. Nationalization of health care, for example, has forced people to buy health insurance. Big government has invaded every aspect of our lives.

Federal control of the educational system has provided the necessary dumbing down of the citizen that has increased surrender of individual freedoms. Individualism is best characterized by freedom of the individual while control is the key focus of collectivism. Many people wonder if the fate of America is destined to collapse as every collectivist societies that have gone before it. The risks associated with this change are huge. A massive effort to stop this collapse would be costly and take decades to achieve if even possible. Each citizen should study the contrast between individualism and collectivism. We have all run into them. All over the Internet, there are horrible trolls that seem to delight in making life miserable for other people. But the worst trolls of all are the government trolls. And thanks to Edward Snowden, we now have some startling new evidence of what really goes on behind the scenes. According to newly revealed documents, British spy agency GCHQ is manipulating online discussions, infiltrating the computers of specific targets, purposely destroying reputations, altering the results of online polls, and using Twitter, Facebook and YouTube for propaganda and espionage purposes. If people don’t start getting outraged about this now, the governments of the western world are going to see it as a green light to do even more. Eventually, it might get so bad that we won’t be able to trust much of anything that we see on the Internet.

But the elite have been starting to catch up to all of this new technology and are learning how to use it for their own purposes. Thanks to Snowden, we now have a list of specific tools that GCHQ has been using to manipulate the Internet. The following is a short excerpt from a recent ZDNet article about these new revelations…

MINIATURE HERO: Active skype capability. Provision of realtime call records (SkypeOut and SkypetoSkype) and bidirectional instant messaging. Also contact lists.

PHOTON TORPEDO: A technique to actively grab the IP address of MSN messenger user

SPRING-BISHOP: Finding private photos of targets on Facebook

BOMB BAY: The capacity to increase website hits, rankings

BURLESQUE: The capacity to send spoofed SMS messages

GESTATOR: Amplification of a given message, normally video, on popular multimedia websites (YouTube)

SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE: Perfect spoofing of emails from Blackberry targets

SUNBLOCK: Ability to deny functionality to send/receive email or view material online

SWAMP DONKEY: A tool that will silently locate all predefined types of file and encrypt them on a targets machine

UNDERPASS: Change outcome of online polls (previously known as NUBILO).

WARPATH: Mass delivery of SMS messages to support an Information Operations campaign.

HUSK: Secure one-on-one web based dead-drop messaging platform.

The list, dated from 2012, says that most of the tools are “fully operational, tested and reliable,” and adds: “Don’t treat this like a catalogue. If you don’t see it here, it doesn’t mean we can’t build it.”

The rest of the world is watching all of this and they are absolutely disgusted with us. The more that we act like Nazis, the more they are going to regard us as such.

Most people are under the illusion that the United States has a "capitalist economy" today, but that simply is not accurate. At best, we have a "mixed economy" that is becoming a little bit more socialist with each passing day. We pay dozens of different types of taxes each year, and some Americans actually end up giving more of their earnings to the government than they keep themselves. But that is still not enough, and so our state governments have accumulated astounding amounts of debt, and our federal government has amassed the largest single debt that the world has ever seen. If future generations of Americans get the chance, they will curse us for the chains of debt that we have placed upon their shoulders.

So what do our government officials do with all of this money?

Well, today approximately 70 percent of all federal government activity involves taking money from some Americans and giving it to other Americans.

Despite this unprecedented wealth-redistribution program, poverty is absolutely exploding in this country and 49 million Americans are dealing with food insecurity.

Meanwhile, the bankers have been getting fabulously wealthy from all of this debt. The Federal Reserve system was designed to trap the U.S. government in an endless spiral of debt from which it could never possibly escape, and that mission has been accomplished.

Most people like to think of big banks as "capitalist" institutions, but that is not really accurate. In the end, giant corporate banks like we have in the United States are actually collectivist institutions. They tend to greatly concentrate wealth and power, and socialists find those kinds of banks very useful.

In fact, Vladimir Lenin once said that "without big banks, socialism would be impossible."

The historic role of government is changing before our eyes. President Obama is making the argument that the executive branch by presidential fiat can pick and choose which laws should and should not be faithfully executed -- whether Obamacare, immigration amnesties or No Child Left Behind statutes.

The fate of the entire concept of voluntary tax compliance is currently endangered by the politicization of the Internal Revenue Service. Whether the government can monitor the communications of either reporters or average citizens depends on getting to the bottom of the National Security Agency and Justice Department/Associated Press scandals.

Why is the country consumed by the trivial while snoozing through the essential?

We have become a nation of instant electronic communications -- Twitter, Facebook, cell phones and the Internet -- even as reading and math scores plummet in our schools, and newspapers and magazines go broke. We can communicate information at the speed of light but have trouble finding anything meaningful to send back and forth.

America's confusion about what is important and petty begins at the top.

The commander in chief was playing cards while Navy Seals risked their lives to kill America's No. 1 enemy -- only later to use photos of himself watching live feeds for his re-election sloganeering: "bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive!"

That pretense sums up the growing void between real and trivial America.

READER COMMENT:  We have done a poor job of passing our values on to our children. My father was a WW2 veteran who served on an aircraft carrier in the South Pacific. He understood what he was fighting for when he enlisted the day after Pearl Harbor. We have allowed the progressives to so rewrite our history that it does not even resemble the history I learned in school. We have allowed the progressives to heap shame on us for being mysogenists, racists, and a host of other ists that we never were concerned about in the past. Some of these things have changed for the better, but for most, the change has been overwhelmingly for the worse. People look for reasons to be offended today. Behavior that constitutes mental illness is daily paraded as normal behavior on reality shows. We have lost any sense of reality and how to distinguish reality from fantasy. We cannot even believe a photograph these days because we have no way of knowing if it has been Photoshopped. When we can no longer trust what we see or hear, there is no basis for making informed decisions about anything. We have the ultimate president for such a time. He is as phony as the Photoshopped pictures he gave us showing him glued to the video feed during the bin Laden raid. Can we then wonder why our children are so obsessed with the Khardasians? It makes me glad I cut the cord on my satellite system two years ago and went back to a TV antenna and a Roku box. I watch only what interests me and leave the trash outside my door.

we as a nation must and should question why in the world do we elect people whose very ideology does not fit the very Constitution they took an oath to “…preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States”, yet the “Progressive Caucus, Socialist, and very Anti-United States”, hold 9 positions on the House Oversight Committee out of the 17 total positions and the “Ranking” member, Rep. Ellijah Cummings, is also a proud member of the “Socialist Party of America. What is the Democratic Socialist Party of the United States and just what do they believe in? Check out how they explain their position below.

“Democratic Socialists believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. We are a political and activist organization, not a party; through campus and community-based chapters DSA members use a variety of tactics, from legislative to direct action, to fight for reforms that empower working people.”

We have tried to find out how many members are in the Senate but none of the Senators are brave enough to show they are really “Socialists”. The “Socialists” use the young people to promote their ideology and help them “change” the United States into a Socialist regime. They do this by “teaching” the young people that they are “owed” everything and they do not have to work to get everything they want.

“Economic justice” as an expression common among liberals in general and is a softer expression of the communist’s belief in economic equality for all. The promotion of “global peace and security” is typically done through appeasement to the enemies of the United States. In fact, when one does an inventory of all of the Progressive’s agenda, it looks remarkably similar to the beliefs of the Communist Party USA.  The site reads, “Founded in 1919, the Communist Party USA has championed the struggles for democracy, labor rights, women’s equality, racial justice and peace for ninety years. Education in our nation’s beginning was mostly done at home.  The main textbooks found in the earliest years were the Blue Back Speller, the New England Primer and the Bible.  By the late 1700s, public schools were instituted so everyone could have a chance to learn to read and write.

By the mid-late 1800s there were nearly two-dozen textbooks used in public schools, including Bible Readings For Schools, 1897, which included:

In preparing the pupil for citizenship the school should not ignore the fact that civil oath or affirmation has been made part of the civil code.  It is considered indispensable in civil causes, and is always administered to jurors and witnesses, and to public servants on assuming the duties of office.  It involves a solemn appeal to God as the author of truth and right, as well as a promise to speak the truth and to do what is right.  It presupposes belief in God and knowledge of man’s relation to his Maker.

Education has been co-opted by PROGRESSIVISM.

Marxists knew that if progressives dominated the educational system and used their influence to slowly push a Godless progressive worldview the future society would be ready to accept more communist based agendas.  Those taught in the ideals of the likes of Marx, Alinsky and others knew that it was not necessary for students to consciously convert to socialist thinking; successive generations would gradually be indoctrinated in the principles of progressivism.

By the mid 1960′s and during the time since, any trace of Biblical truths have been steadily been erased and American history has been white washed. 

Replacing the enduring values, which America was built on, have been moral relativism, ethics, multiculturalism and social justice and activism.  These have been taught to younger age groups as these ideals have slowly become accepted and promoted by far left political groups like the National Education Association, teachers unions and even the federal government’s Department of Education.

God has long been absent from our public schools, colleges and universities. Something has had to take His place. We now have such things as post modernism, anti-American/Western values, and multiculturalism and hyper sensitive atmosphere where even a piece of food can be confiscated as a threat, and students having to undergo trauma counseling for being subject to perceived violence, and having little army men on cupcakes at a school birthday party being seen as “insensitive”.

DEMOCRATS, FASCISTS AND COMMUNISTS HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON

Class Warfare: It’s just what Fascists, communists do

“In 2012, candidates who supported the economic interests of the many over the few won their elections,” Borosage writes. “Populism was the voice, but economic opportunity was the message. The pundits may wring their hands, but in the future it won’t be values voters, angry white men or soccer moms that win elections. It will be class war.”

 

There is not yet any mission statement on the website, so CAF’s exact strategy for waging class war is unclear, but it evidently intends to start by targeting David Horowitz’s DiscoverTheNetworks.org and World Net Daily, which inspired a hit piece in the Huffington Post that called WND an extremist website.

 

Class warfare has quite a history, in fact. Just look at the rise of any communist regime and you’ll find class warfare as a central strategy for destroying the old order and duping the masses into supporting the new, only to regret it very soon after.

 

Would Nazism have grown into the threat it became if Hitler and supporters didn’t first demonize wealthy (and especially Jewish) capitalists and stir up the working class to resist “exploitation” at their hands? Not likely.

 

Stalin also used class warfare against his own people. It was a doctrine he took straight from Karl Marx, who wrote extensively about the rising up of the working class against the wealthy.

 

The concepts of class warfare are being utilized today very effectively in Greece by the Golden Dawn party.

 

In America, class warfare is now the strategy of the Democratic Party, or “Progressives” as they like to call themselves — a name shared with communist movements around the world.

Occupy Wall Street has been endorsed by American Nazi and Communist parties, which, let’s face it, share about 95 percent of the same goals and draw their people from the same pool of liberal lunkheads.

Which brings us back full circle to CAF and its class warfare website. CAF receives its funding from the Tides Institute, which supports the Occupy movement. Tides also funds Adbusters magazine, which provides the website that serves as the hub for Occupy planning and news.

 

Class warfare is warmly embraced by the Democrats, “champions of the middle class.”

In a nutshell, Alinsky’s Rules are summed up best by Alinsky himself: “What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. ‘The Prince’ was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. ‘Rules for Radicals’ is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.”

The brilliant thing about Alinsky’s work—and the reason it continues to be effective today—is because the plan is to destroy their enemy from within through (very sneaky) infiltration and indoctrination. He encouraged his radicals to plant seeds of class warfare from within through community organizing.

Our destiny is not to be one among many in the dark but to be a light to others, an inspiration and a hope for all mankind. Though we have fallen short, it was for this purpose that our country was created.

Liberty is the manifestation of the deepest nature of all mankind, that we are made in the image of God, and by God’s grace we shall be free. We knew this once, and that knowledge made us bold, made us humble, made us good, made us great.

But we have traded our freedom of late for the false security of buffet religion and foreign philosophies. Or, more frequently, we have turned our backs on our Creator altogether and worshipped our own shadows, accepting chains for false promises of a man-made, communal paradise.

But other men are not Americans, we brave few who in all the history of the world who are among a small number who placed faith in God and dared to be free. The chains of socialism appear as gold, but they are chains nonetheless.

Until such time as all men cherish freedom, America must rule herself and accept that those who bow to power make poor presidents.

READER COMMENT: Very insightful sir. You understand the beast that socialism/communism is and how it is nothing but manipulation of the mind and soul that distorts ones image of evil. Regrettably your powerful message will only reach a handful and be understood by even fewer patriots that heeded the warning of sacrificing liberty for security. This simple message is being drowned out by the evil that dominates our society from the educational institutions to the media to the lusts that people have forgotten how to control.

When faced with the easy or hard roads our current generations, against the advice of wiser men have chosen the easy road and now we pay. We are witnessing the willful destruction of a spirit that survived the best the world could throw at it from surviving the ice age to prevailing in WWII. This is the human spirit.

We are now becoming an animal (thanks to Darwinism) that will not know how to feed itself if our master takes our bowl away, and somehow, through the use of humanistic psychology many of us have been tricked into begging for this socially engineered decline in human initiative.

Reversing this phenomena will take more than a conservative victory in this coming election. It will take nothing less than the 100 years it took the communists to retrain our thought process which brought us to where we are today. It will take a prevailing attitude of those who are unaffected by the conditioning techniques of the left and an undying application of the very tactics they employed but with the desired outcome to find truth, not achieve moral relativism.

The question is, are there enough people that still believe in America as founded?

Are there enough people in this country that understand our constitution and the fact that self governance is impossible without higher, absolute morality?

That is what this coming election will determine. Failure to realize this election is nothing but a start, a beginning for the return of American exceptionalism could be just as disastrous as electing another far left liberal.

LITTLE RED HEN - 2012

"Who will help me plant my wheat?" asked the little red hen.

"Not I," said the cow.

"Not I," said the duck.

"Not I," said the pig.

"Not I," said the goose.

"Then I will do it by myself."

She planted her crop and the wheat grew and ripened.

"Who will help me reap my wheat?" asked the little red hen.

"Not I," said the duck.

"Out of my classification," said the pig.

"I'd lose my seniority," said the cow.

"I'd lose my unemployment compensation," said the goose.

"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen, and so she did.

"Who will help me bake the bread?" asked the little red hen.

"That would be overtime for me," said the cow.

"I'd lose my welfare benefits," said the duck.

"I'm a dropout and never learned how," said the pig.

"If I'm to be the only helper, that's discrimination," said the goose.

"That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful.

Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants.

But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle."

And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, "I am grateful, for now I truly understand."

But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her.

The root cause behind Romney’s lagging poll numbers is that America has finally turned a corner in its socio-demographic composition. Simply put, the American public now consists of almost as many takers as makers, and the takers vote in higher numbers than the makers. We have finally reached the point in America where those who exhibit an entitlement mentality are almost equal in number to those who still believe in the American dream of success through opportunity and hard work. The numbers are close, but those who think government is the solution coupled with those who would rather take from someone else than earn for themselves are close to being a majority. People with an entitlement mentality are not likely to be moved by a candidate who promises opportunity, jobs, and economic freedom instead of government handouts, no matter how incompetent the incumbent may be. This sad fact, more than anything else, explains Mitt Romney’s disappointing poll numbers.

T’was the night before elections,
And all thru' the town,
Tempers were flaring
Emotions ran up and down.

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap,
Had shut off the TV,
tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden,
There arose such a noise,
I peered out my window,
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet,
They wanted my pay
To hand out to others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money,
And quick as a wink,
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink.

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart.
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, on Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause,
And as they flew out of sight,
I heard him laugh at a nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!
So I leave you to think

Obama's stock in trade has always been rabble-rousing, community organizing and campaigning. When it comes to actual governing, he's a fish out of water -- an alien visitor without a spaceship. It's obvious that he simply does not enjoy actually doing the jobs he is elected to do.

Don't get me wrong. Obama has not solely been concerned with acquiring power for the sake of satisfying his narcissistic appetite for attention, fame and power. As a leftist radical, he happens to fervently believe in the causes he has pursued.

But when he arrived at the highest office in the land, he still lacked skills at basic governance and disliked the mundane parts of the job

His first-term takeaway is that he will have to be even more determined and ruthless in a second term in driving through his agenda, which he now understands can only be achieved through Alinsky tactics. So when he says change must be achieved from the outside, that is code for "community organizing" and means he'd be even less respectful of the Constitution and rule of law in a second term -- which is chilling.
