YOU CUT -- YOU VOTE -- SOMEONE MIGHT LISTEN

http://republicanwhip.house.gov/youcut/

This week the House Republican Economic Recovery Working Group rolled out a new initiative titled “YouCut.” The YouCut project is designed to challenge Congress’ culture of spending in a first-of-its-kind effort to engage the public in refocusing Congress’ priorities. For the next nine legislative weeks American citizens will have the opportunity to vote on spending cuts and see their efforts result in direct action on the House floor.

Each week, the Economic Recovery Working Group will post online a list of five proposals to reduce wasteful or unnecessary spending. You will have a chance to vote online or on your cell phone on the proposal that you would most like to see Congress to consider the following week. The following week, House Republicans will force a Floor vote on whether or not to take up and debate the spending cut proposal.

I encourage all who are interested to participate each week and make their voices heard. Please click HERE to vote.
