CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS

Please consider the following as American moves closer to election day.
Incumbents are returned to office 98% of the time.
The biggest reason is funding—by the Democratic and Republican parties, and unions.

You can check out information at the Family Research Council to view campaign contributions and committee memberships. Please educate yourself on this very important topic.

Next, if Americans no longer make campaign contributions to parties (Democratic and Republicans) but instead make campaign contributions directly to the candidate, this loosens the hold the party has on the candidate.
The elected candidate is not so beholden to the party and is able to cast votes according to conscience rather than party dictate.
However, your contribution is capped by election laws.

Now, consider this.
You are allowed to make campaign contributions to PACs (political action committees) with fewer restrictions in larger amounts.
There are a number of organizations that operate in this fashion that might interest you.
Any such contributions are NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
