You know, I can honestly see the educational value in this. For half a day, maybe a full day. But don't these kids have other things to learn the other 180 (or whatever it is) school days of the year? It's one thing for an adult to call in sick or whatever they do to get off of work, but to disrupt a child's education is just wrong. Those kids don't care, do you remember what field trips were in school? Basically a day off from learning.
