Brett Kimberlin – Why You Should
Care
Radical Brett Kimberlin: Using
legal system to remove free speech rights in America .
Most of you have probably never
heard of Brett Kimberlin. That's quite understandable because most of our team
had never heard of him either... until this week. You see, Brett Kimberlin, also
known as the "speedway bomber," recently began organizing coordinated attacks on
conservative writers. Kimberlin is using the legal system to shut down free
speech and he's doing so effectively.
There is another sinister angle to what Kimberlin and his eThugs are doing. They're now organizing SWATtings against bloggers. In essence, someone calls the police to report a shooting in a conservative blogger's home, then a SWAT team shows up and arrests the blogger at gun point.
This harassment is illegal and is aimed at completely shutting down opposing opinions. And unfortunately, there are judges willing to go along with it.

Kimberlin is a known associate of
Neal Rauhauser, a Democrat campaign consultant who has described himself as a
computer “hacker.” Kimberlin, director of the tax-exempt Justice Through Music
Project, is also involved in another tax-exempt group, Velvet Revolution, which
has gained
national attention by demanding criminal prosecution of high-profile
figures including Republican strategist Karl Rove, U.S. Chamber of Commerce
president Tom Donohue, and the late Internet news entrepreneur Andrew
Breitbart. Kimberlin’s
name also surfaced last year in connection with the so-called “Anonymous”
international hacker conspiracy. Kimberlin has pursued numerous strategies
to harass journalists and bloggers who have attempted to call attention to his
criminal past and his notorious dishonesty — a “top-flight con man,” as
Publisher’s Weekly called him in a review of award-winning journalist Mark
Singer’s 1996 book, Citizen
K: The Deeply Weird American Journey of Brett
Kimberlin.
Then, this:
This is no war of words; Kimberlin
is a serial litigator who has filed over 100 lawsuits by his own account and he
takes people to court, claiming they are harassing him. He calls their
employers. I stand with all these people, some of whom are my friends. I’m
launching a new effort on my own that I hope will
help.
The only effective way I to fight
Brett Kimberlin is for as many people to research and write about him as
possible.
Patterico’s Pontifications –
5/25/2012
In the last radio
interview Andrew Breitbart ever gave, on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, Breitbart
talked about a new ruthless tactic
used by thugs against political opponents:
[O]ne of the things
they’ve done to people who have worked with me in the past, including an
L.A. prosecutor,
is to “SWAT.” That means that they’re spoofing phones, pretending to be somebody
else’s phone, calling 911, and saying “I killed somebody” and then the person’s
home is met with the guns drawn, the SWAT and the helicopters, in a horrifying
act. It’s happened twice: once in New Jersey ,
once in Los Angeles , with an L.A. County . . . prosecutor who [is]
associated with me.”
I am that L.A. County prosecutor. And in this post,
you’ll hear the hoax call.
