Young America’s Foundation – Ron Meyer – 6/7/2012
The Conservative Movement
faces challenges on many fronts, but we can’t afford to ignore our college
campuses.
Conservatives, especially young conservatives, are not natural activists. We generally want to be left alone and let others run their own lives. Young conservatives are not prone to participate in demonstrations and boldly confront those with whom we disagree, unlike liberal students who have a number of liberal professors cheering them on and providing support.
We need young conservatives to speak out more than ever. With youth unemployment still at record highs, increasing national debt, and the Youth Misery Index at an all-time high, students need to hear alternatives to the failed, big government agenda pushed by the Obama administration.

READER COMMENT: The professors are lefty but the students aren't fooled!! White students
well understand the ramifications of AA when it comes to college admissions and
workplace hiring.
My daughter attends the
uber-lefty Berkeley -- guess what the #1 student
organization is on the Berkeley
campus?? (No, it ISN'T CPUSA)!!
It's YOUNG REPUBLICANS!!
If this be true at BERKELEY , it must be true
on other campii as well -- there IS hope out there after all.
(My little daughter has also
told me about furious arguments between conservative students and their
out-of-world university professors, especially about AA, diversity, quotas,
etc. -- those students had better watch it!! One complained to the dean because
he was being berated in class in front of other students for his beliefs, prof
made his life HELL -- BUT, the prof STILL has control over the grades he doles
out).
READER COMMENT: I think that it is much worse then you might think. If you look at who
holds the reigns of power on the Federal, State and even local levels you will
see a disproportional number of Ivy League graduates; in return these same
people funnel BILLIONS of our tax dollars back to these institutions to keep
the cycle going. ALL of these colleges and universities are tax exempt, they do
not pay a penny into the tax fund, but get BILLIONS of our dollars back! Money
is given to these universities and NOTHING is given back to the taxpayer! Talk
about paying their "fair share". This is not hear say, I have seen
this personally! Universities, such as Princeton ,
Harvard, Yale, etc have more land and money then many small countries! Many
universities have their own, fully armed, police force which can be used for
political purposes! If you are politically constitutional, you are in trouble! The
faculty will use pressure; i.e. grades, peer, etc. to keep you in line. Keep in
mind that, by and large, the faculty does not have to produce anything, only
maintain and increase political power, that is socialist power. If you object
to this money being given away, well you are against education and "our
children". Now for your homework assignments:
1) Look up who and what the
presidents and provosts of the major universities are?
2) Look up where all presidents, senators, representatives and judges went to school?
3) Look up the current assets of major universities? (land, holdings, endowments)
4) Look up the amount of research and other grants awarded, and to who?

Once you have done this a
pattern will emerge! In a few days I will tell you some of the answers.
