PRESS RELEASE -- CLEAN UP OUR ELECTIONS

For Immediate Release: June 26, 2012

One week after Wisconsin’s June 2012 Recall Election, the NORTHWOODS PATRIOTS voted unanimously on the following resolutions:

• Restore authority and oversight of elections to the office of the Wisconsin Secretary of State as originally intended by the Wisconsin Constitution.
•  Eliminate same day voter registration.
•  Restore and implement Photo I D for voters.
•  Establish credible and verifiable proof-of-residency criteria.
•  Establish mandatory training requirements for election inspectors statewide.

NORTHWOODS PATRIOTS Founder Kim Simac states, “Hardworking taxpayers deserve a credible working model when it comes to fair and honest elections in America. Wisconsin can take the lead in promoting such a process that guarantees simple, common sense rules.”
