Comments give real insight into the liberal progressive mindset. Here’s one
example:
READER COMMENT: Indeed. The Democrat strategists
understand how it works. They realize that you dont' eliminate religion from
man, all men are religious, just as all men walk upright on two legs, have
opposable thumbs, and both hair and
fur.
They simply drive away
the traditional religions, and then offer up statism to fill the void. Politics
is indeed their religion, just as Islam is both politics and
religion.
The left has its
creation myth ... evolution. It has its fall from grace ... capitalism and
industry. It has its path to salvation ... recycling and green. It has its
Eden/Heaven ... living in harmony with nature.
It's nothing new, just
a cheap knock off of Christianity where they bend the plot so there's no
explicit deity. That way they can insert any politician they desire into that
role.
