CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESIDENT - NOT REQUIRED IN WISCONSIN BY GAB

This is a summary of earlier Georgia and Florida posts with Wisconsin added.

GEORGIA
DNC REFUSES TO REMOVE OBAMA FROM PRESIDENTIAL BALLOT
The case of Obama’s eligibility occurred 1/26/2012 in Georgia.
The judge ruled Obama is eligible based on a statement in Indiana.
The ruling now goes to the Georgia Secretary of State whether or not to allow Obama on Georgia’s ballot.

FLORIDA

In the 2008 party filing papers to Florida, the RNC stated that their candidates were constitutionally eligible, while the DNC only noted Barack Obama was the Democrat nominee.

WISCONSIN
The political party picks the candidate for president.
The state of WI lists Constitutional requirements for U.S. SENATOR (Article I, Section 3) and Congressional REPRESENTATIVE (Article I Section 2)
The Constitution lists the numerous requirements for PRESIDENT (Article II Section 1).
HOWEVER, WISCONSIN DOES NOT LIST CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESIDENT.

Wisconsin GAB – Candidates:  Getting on the Ballot

Wisconsin GAB – Federal Candidates

Wisconsin Candidate Eligibility – Candidate, age, residency, and special requirements

Wisconsin Ballot Access Requirements for President and Vice President of the United States – Rev. January 2012

Why does Wisconsin list Constitutional requirements for U.S. Senators and Congressional Representatives, but nothing for the office of President of the United States?
