IS WASHINGTON SERIOUS ABOUT TAX REFORM?

Senator Max Baucus and Rep. Dave Camp have a new website devoted to Tax Reform:

Forgive me for being cynical but my take is that the BRIBE TAKERS have run out of BRIBE GIVERS and are looking for new campaign money from ordinary TAXPAYERS.  All you want to do is take in more tax dollars to create more UNCONSTITUTIONAL agencies and programs that do not solve problems but perpetuate government into a gigantic colossal BLOB.  Good luck.

You'll get thousands of ideas and then you guys will just drop the ball as you have thousands of times in the past. 

Just look at the Benghazi hearings.  Lies, lies and more lies.  Same for Fast and Furious.  Same for ObamaCare. 

Are there any legislators who are honest?  Are there any programs that solve problems?  Is there any agency that's met its mission and been defunded?  No.  No.  And No.  Every agency grows bigger.  Every agency requires a bigger budget for more employees to dream up more and more intrusive regulations that put the noose around American families and businesses. 

You will not take action on the ideas that come in because that would result in GOVERNMENT LAYOFFS, DEFUNDING AGENCIES AND LOSS OF POWER FOR THE WASHINGTON ELITES.

You will only solve America's problems if you first look to the U.S. Constitution, then take action.  Ripping up the Constitution seems to be the only activity that current legislators take seriously. 

And, if you do actually look at the U. S. Constitution, you will realize that probably 80% of federal government spending is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.  You (yes I blame you personally) have left American taxpayers with mountains of debt for generations, have destroyed the fabric of intact families, ruined education, tolerate illegal immigration and promote abortion with your constant obsession of sex outside a monogamous marriage.

America is dying because thousand slivers a day are being imposed on us by “laws.”  We are bleeding to death, gasping for breath and can no longer trust our “elected legislators” to solve problems. 

Trust and respect have to be earned.  Once lost, it is extremely difficult to regain. 

Max, you were right to announce your resignation.  We need 400 other people to follow your example.
